The American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians holds the copyright on all materials published in JVDI, whether in print or electronic form, both as a compilation and as individual articles. All JVDI content is subject to "fair use" provisions of U.S. or applicable international copyright laws (see http://www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html). Click here for detailed terms and conditions for using the CTA. Upon acceptance of manuscripts, all authors must sign and return the CTA before their manuscripts can be published. Failure to promptly return the signed agreement will delay publication of accepted articles.

Color Figure Agreement

All CFAs should be submitted by e-mail or fax to the Editorial Assistant at editorial{at}jvdi.org, fax 706-542-5977.

Upon acceptance of manuscripts, all authors whose manuscripts contain color figures must sign and return the CFA before their manuscripts can be published. Failure to promptly return the signed agreement will delay publication of accepted articles.

Copyright Permission

POST-PRINT: author has permission to archive post-print (i.e., final draft post-refereeing).

PRE-PRINT: author does NOT have permission to archive pre-print (i.e., pre-refereeing).

CONDITIONS:

l. Cannot archive until publication. 2. If funding agency rules apply, can be posted on relevant third party, institutional, or subject-based Web site. 3. Publisher copyright and source must be acknowledged. 4. Publisher version/PDF must be used.

All requests for permission to reproduce material published in the JVDI should be formulated on the requestor's official letterhead and contain all the information from our "Permission to use Copyright Material" form as well as the requestor's name, address, signature, and date of signature.
